YantrAdhigam Labs Private Limited ("TradeOn") is committed to addressing user complaints and grievances in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. This policy is established in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Types of Grievances

You may file a grievance related to:

  • Platform issues: Technical problems, bugs, or service interruptions affecting your use of TradeOn
  • Account & billing: Subscription charges, account access, KYC verification disputes
  • Privacy & data: Concerns about the collection, processing, or security of your personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023
  • Content complaints: Objectionable content, misleading product listings, or defamatory material posted by other users
  • Intellectual property: Copyright, trademark, or patent infringement by other users (see our IP Policy for the detailed process)
  • Fraud & abuse: Suspected fraud, counterfeit products, scams, or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Trade disputes: While trade transactions are between sellers and buyers, you may report platform-level misconduct by a counterparty
  • Discrimination or harassment: Any conduct that violates your dignity or creates a hostile experience on the platform

3. How to File a Grievance

You may file a grievance through any of the following channels:

  • Email: Send a detailed complaint to info@tradeon.in
  • Written letter: Send by post to the Grievance Officer at the address above

Your complaint should include:

  • Your full name, registered email, and organization name
  • A clear description of the grievance with relevant dates and details
  • The names or identifiers of any other users involved
  • Supporting evidence (screenshots, invoice numbers, transaction IDs, etc.)
  • The resolution you are seeking

4. Resolution Timeline

* As per the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021. Complex cases involving multiple parties or external agencies may take longer, in which case you will be informed of the revised timeline.

5. Content Takedown Requests

If your grievance relates to objectionable content (as defined under the IT Act, 2000), including content that is defamatory, obscene, threatens national security, or infringes intellectual property:

  • TradeOn will review and act on valid takedown requests within 36 hours of determination.
  • Content will be disabled or removed pending investigation.
  • The user whose content has been taken down will be notified and given an opportunity to respond.
  • Government or court-ordered takedowns will be complied with as per applicable law.

6. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by the Grievance Officer, you may:

  • Escalate your complaint to TradeOn's management at info@tradeon.in
  • For data protection grievances: file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India as constituted under the DPDP Act, 2023
  • For consumer grievances: file a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) portal at consumerhelpline.gov.in or call 1800-11-4000
  • For unresolved disputes: pursue arbitration or legal remedies as outlined in our Terms of Service

  • Continuously improving our policies and processes based on user feedback
